A large part of my practice is built around my love to collaborate.

How do we start the collaboration process?

An initial one hour meeting via Zoom to discuss to scope and ideas for the project.

What is your typical turnaround time for projects?

Please supply your desired delivery date and I will work towards it.

My standard delivery times are:

Artworks on paper and canvas: 2 weeks

Framing: +2 weeks

Prints: +2 weeks

Projects in other mediums might take longer, but I will be able to give you an estimate time frame after our initial meeting.

How many revisions or changes are included in the collaboration process?

My standard rule is two changes. You can however request for regular check-ins and updates if that is what the project requires. If you do not request it, my standard “two changes” rule apply.

What happens if I need additional revisions beyond the agreed-upon number?

My hourly rate of R1600 applies.

The two reasons why I don’t do commissions

When you see an artist's work and fall in love with their style, it's often born from a place of total creative freedom. Commissions can disrupt this organic process. Clients expect the artist to capture a specific aesthetic they have in mind, shifting the creation away from that uninhibited space. As a result, the final piece may not embody the same essence you initially admired. Instead, I encourage clients to explore my catalogue.

I believe time is our most precious commodity. As an artist, I have a finite number of porjects and ideas I’m driven to express. Commissions can feel like detours, pulling me away from my singular focus. To stay true to my work I strive to stay on track with the creations I’m most passionate about.

The nature of what constitutes a “commission” can be unclear, so please talk to me about what you have in mind.
