Offering & RATES

OFFERING

As a visual artist, my primary focus is drawing and installation.

I have also worked across a range of project types, including but not limited to murals, printing on fabric, illustrated animation, stationery and wallpaper.

RATES

Prices for specific existing artworks are available on my website.

General Price Guide: Prices for artworks vary depending on size, complexity, and medium. As a general guide, works on paper ranging from A3 to A0 typically fall between ZAR6,000 and ZAR25,000. Please enquire for current availability and exact pricing.

Hourly Rate: ZAR 1200 (USD 78 & EUR 65)

Live Drawing Rate: The following packages are based on events taking place in Cape Town. All standard materials (paper and watercolours) are included up to value of R500.

2-hour package: R 7,500
3-hour package: R 9,000
4-hour package: R12,000

If, at the client’s request, the artist is requested to stay beyond the agreed booking time, additional time is charged at R1,500 p/hour.

Please note that live drawing is a creative, organic process. While the artist will be present and drawing throughout the booking, the number of drawings produced cannot be guaranteed to a strict schedule.

Commissions: Quotes are determined based on the project’s scope, including complexity, details, and time required.

Collaborations:
I’m always open to collaborative projects and believe in the value that emerges when distinct brands or creative styles come together.

Branding: I am not a brand, logo or graphic designer and do not offer full branding packages ( layouts, positioning, or brand systems). What I can offer is a custom illustration as well as a hand-written lettering version of your business name, which clients have then taken to a graphic designer to build out into a complete brand.

Daily Drawings are intended as one-off, spontaneous pieces and is a different process (and usage) to developing a full brand asset. For that reason, I offer a flat illustration rate of R5000 and request that any application be done by a graphic designer. This way, you get something special and handmade from me but with the professional polish and consistency that good branding needs.

Payment Methods: For local purchases, I accept standard EFT payments.
For international payments, I will send you a Yoco link for secure payment processing.

Works on canvas: Not my thing. Paper is my thing. 😎

Rush Fee: All rushed projects will include an additional rush fee of 25% which is added to the final invoice.

Social Media Posts: I don’t maintain a specific rate card. I’m flexible and will adhere to agreed terms. If a post requires extensive time, my hourly rate applies.

Payment Plans: I’m pleased to offer payment plans, as these have allowed me to invest in art in the past. Contact me to discuss options. Note that artwork ships only once full payment is received.

Deposit Required: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin any project.

My standard delivery times are:
Artworks on paper: 2 weeks
Projects in other mediums: Timing depends on the scope and complexity of the project. We’ll agree on a timeline after our initial consultation.

Changes: A "set of changes" refers to one email with up to 3 suggestions. Additional changes incur a charge of ZAR1200 per hour, added to the final invoice.

Final Payment: The final artwork will be released upon receipt of full payment.

Framing: I do not offer framing. My recommended framer is Framed by Anton in Cape Town, +27 82 454 1948.
